Uttarkashi Uttarakhand - Uttarkashi is a district of Uttarakhand State in India. Uttarkashi also known as Kashi of north and situated on the bank of Bhagirathi. Uttarkashi is 155 km far from Rishikesh city and Uttarkashi situated on top height of Himalayan range. This city is a place of hindu religious and Lord Visvanath temple located in Uttarkashi, beautiful nature wise its one side thick forest and hill area could be enjoy on hills. Vishvnath Temple - An ancient time temple Vishvanath is dedicated to Hindu Lord Shiva and located 300 meter only from the bus stand of Uttarkashi. People called that this great temple was founded by Parshuram. Every visitors who come to Uttarkashi visits to this temple and worship here.
Shakti Temple - Shakti temple is located on the right side of Vishvanath temple. A 6 meter long trident or Trishul is in this shakti temple. Maa Durga killed to demons by trident.
Maneri - Maneri is situated 14 kilometer from Uttarkashi and there is a Dam located on Bhagirathi which attracts many tourist.
\Dodi Taal - Dodi taal is very popular and huge number of tourist often come here and enjoy and this pond (taal) is surrounding by thick forest and look very beautiful.
Kedar Taal - There is no simple to reach at Kedar taal, for it tourists go with full preparation.
Gomukh - Gomukh is origin of water of Ganga or Bhagirathi . This is very important place in Uttarkashi here recommended to each Hindu who comes here must be take bath in Holy water.
Nachiketa Taal - Nachiketa Taal is looks awesome surrounded by green plants and trees. Many tourists come at this place and enjoy the natural environment.
Sath Taal - Sath mean seven and Sath taal is meaning to Seven Lakes and full with nautral beauty.
