Overview of Taj-ul-Masjid Bhopal
Taj ul-Masjid is located in the city of Bhopal of Madhya Pradesh, which is the largest mosque in Bhopal. Taj ul-Masjid is even one of the largest mosques in India and throughout Asia. Taj ul-Masjid means "Taj of the mosques". It has been built with inspiration from the Jama Masjid of Delhi. There is an Ijtima Urj of three days in Taj ul-Masjid every year, in which people come from all corners of the country.
Construction History of Taj-ul-Masjid
Sikandar Begum had dreamed of taking Taj ul-mosque to Tajim, so Taj ul-Masjid was added to the name of Sikandar Begum. When Sikandar Begum went to Delhi after the Allahabad court in 1861, she saw that the Jama Masjid of Delhi had been transformed into a cavalry of the British army. Sikandar Begum obtained this mosque from the British instead of his loyalty, and by taking his hand, she cleared it and established the real Imam.
Inspired by the Taj ul-Masjid, she decided that such a mosque should be built in Bhopal. Sikandar, where this dream of his life could not be fulfilled, his daughter Shahjahan Begum achieved it in his dream.
Scientific map preparation
Shah-Jahan Begum prepared a very scientific map of the Taj al-Masjid. Taking into account the principles of the sound wave, a structure of 21 empty balloons was prepared, that when the Imam said something after being under the main dome, his voice would be recited throughout the mosque. Shahjahan Begum also gave a stone worth 15 rupees lakh of Taj abroad for the Taj ul-Masjid as seen on the Ax, so the clerics forbade the use of this stone. Even today some of those stones are kept in 'Darul Uloom'. Due to lack of funds, this could not have happened to his life and the dream of Shah Jahan Begum remained unfinished and he died prematurely of cancer of the cheek. After this, Sultan Jahan and his son could not complete the work of this mosque.
Characteristics of the Taj-ul-Masjid
Taj ul-Masjid has bright red towers, on which gold peaks are tilted. This huge pink mosque has two minarets with white domes, which are used as madrassas. There is a wall around it and there is a pond in the middle. The entrance to the Taj-ul-Masjid is two stories and is very beautiful. The entrance to the Taj-ul-Masjid has four arches and there are 9 entrances to the main prayer room. The whole building is very beautiful. The pink stone mosque has two large white domes. There are three white dome in the main building.
Dream comes true
After the government of India in 1971, Taj-ul-Masjid was completely built. Now, the credit for the Taj ul-Masjid that we see is attributed to Maulana Muhammad Imran, who did this in 1970. This is the exact copy of Jama Masjid from Delhi. Today it is the sixth largest mosque in Asia, but if you look for an area and, according to its original map, the Motia pond of 800x800 feet made for Vuju is included, it is the Akhtar Hussain largest mosque in the world.
