Architecture of Jama Masjid Bhopal

Jama Masjid of Bhopal is based on four garden methods similar to the Jama Masjid of Delhi. The 'Hujre' has been built on the four corners of the mosque built at a height of nine meters. It has entrance from three directions. There is a huge courtyard inside. The eastern and northern entrance is the hawk. The place of prayer here is based on semi-columns and independent pillars. The structure of the columns is as follows that the building is automatically divided into two parallel parts. The five-storey huge skyscraper tower on both sides of the prayer site makes an unprecedented increase in its beauty.

On the first floor of the mosque, there are interesting lanes, which have been used to provide the basis of brackets. In every aspect of the tower there are four brackets i.e. thirty feet in one floor. There is a dome above the fifth lint, on which the Padmakosh and golden kalash are decorated. The arithmetic arches on the top of the columns have been constructed for the beauty enhancement in the astounds that are made from these sequential compositions of columns.

Sultan e Jahan Begum mentioned in 'Hayate Qudsia' that the construction of the Jama Masjid happened at that place, where there was an old temple of Hindus, which was used to be meeting Lobby.
