Gathering Center is a unique component of the campus science city, Kolkata which has a main auditorium with a capacity of 2,232 people, a miniature auditorium with a capacity of 392 persons and 11 rooms with 15 to 100 sitting-capacity, one covered (270 square .Meter) and a single (20000 sq.m.) exhibition venue, is a seminar room complex. All the auditorium and seminar rooms are fully air-conditioned. The session center of Science City is a prominent place in Kolkata City where meetings, conferences, annual general meetings, business related exhibitions and cultural events are organized.
Science City is an example of financial self-sufficiency for the public sector and with its revenues, it mobilizes its operations and maintenance expenses.
Illusion is a permanent exhibition in which Illusion of the world is displayed very interestingly. This exhibition is 30 minutes total. Here is a science exploration house. Founded in 2016, this exploration house is spread over 5400 square meters. It has four main sections. According to the name, 'Emerging Technology Gallery', 'Evolution of Life - A Dark Side', 'Panorama of Human Evolution' and 'Science and Technology Heritage of India'. There is a huge theater in it, in which about 2200 people have the ability to sit together. Around 100 participants can display their art together on the platform created in it. There is also a 'Space Odyssey' 3-D Vision Theater, which is featured with the help of Stereo Beck Projection. Along with this, there are approximately 35 such exhibit items, which show an exhibition based on the reflection of light.
