Overview of Panch Rath Temple Mahabalipuram
Panch chariot is a beautiful monument named Rath, which is located in the Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu, in the Coromandel Coast of Bay of Bengal. This complex was constructed by Mahendravarman first and son Narasimha Verman first in the 7th century.
The five monuments of the pirate chariot are made in a manner similar to the chariot, which are made by digging all the granite stones. It is built on north-south direction. This chariot looks like a temple to look at. In it, artwork is also seen showing the story of Mahabharata. All these nights are in big size like this - Dharmaraj Rath, Bhim Rath, Arjun Ratha, Nakul Sahdev Ratha and Draupadi Ratha.
