Kathgodam
Kathgodam is a suburban area of Haldwani Metropolitan and town of Nainital district of Uttarakhand. Historically it is known as Gate of Kumaon. River Gaula flows right of this town towards the Haldwani. There is last North Eastern Railway terminal. Kathgodam means to wooden warehouse. It is main centre of business.There are many places where tourists could be enjoyed weekends and holidays trips with their friends or family.
Kalichaud Mandir - Kalichaud Temple Center of worship and penance of saints since ancient time, is located at Biawan forest near of Kathgodam town under the Kumaon region in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand in north India. Kalichaud temple dedicates to Goddess Kali Mata and It is very popular temple among other Kali Mata Temples. Sheetla Devi temple also located near of this temple. Devotees and tourist or visitors visits both the temple and worship here.
Gaula River - River Gaula origin and flows from Saat Tal Lake and goes to Kathgodam and Haldwani. 500 meters river, Gaula meets to Ramganga River in Uttar Pradesh and further confluences to Holy River the Ganges. Gaula dam is situated on the River which is now attraction center as well as picnic point for tourists. Many people come to this dam and enjoyed their weekends and holidays.
Hanuman Garhi - Hanuman Garhi is popular temple is 3 kilometers from Nainital and 21 kilometers from Kathgodam. This temple was built by Neem Karoli Baba in 1950. Sunset can be view from this temple and fabulous view of hills and at evening this site became very awesome.
