Mysore Weekend Tour Itinerary Details

2 Nights / 3 Days

Day 1: Arrive Mysore

On arrival at Mysore airport/station/Bus stand, meet our representative who will transfer you to your already booked hotel in Mysore. Check in at the hotel and get freshen up.

Evening visit Chamundeshwari Temple: The Chamundeshwari Temple is traditional Hindu temple located on the eastern edge of Mysore at the height of 1000ft on the Chamundi hills. Dedicated to and named after goddess Durga, the temple also has statues of Nandi and Mahishasura, the demon.

Later, we will return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Mysore Local Sightseeing

After having breakfast, we will proceed for the local sightseeing of Mysore. We will start our day tour by visiting Tipu Sultan's Palace: also known as the Wooden Palace as it is bade of stones, bricks and wood. The place was once the summer retreat for the ruler. After exploring this beautiful palace, Then we will visit Somnathpura: On the banks of Holy waterway Kaveri is a small quiet town of Somanathapura. Here stands the best and most excellent landmark of Hoysala design known as the renowned Prasanna Chennakesava Temple or essentially the Kesava Temple After exploring these places, we will return back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3: Departure Mysore

On the last day of our tour, after breakfast in the morning, checkout from the hotel. Visit the Mysore Zoo: Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, also known as the Mysore Zoo is one of the best zoological gardens in India. Maharaja Chamaraja Wodeyar established this Zoo in the year 1892 for the Royals.

Later transfer to the Mysore Railway Station/Airpot/Bus Stand for onward journey with all memories of visit.
