Manali Zero Point Rohtang Pass

Rohtang Pass or Zero Point Manali - Rohtang Pass situated on the snow-covered Pass (Pass) Leh Highway and this pass is open only in the months of June to October every year. It offers a beautiful view of the glacier, the Himalayan peaks and the river. This route is the gateway to Lahaul, Spiti, Pangi and Leh. Due to the increasing popularity, the Rohtang route is often filled with mountaineering tourists during the tourist season. Rohtang (pass) has many options for tourists for skiing and sledding and capturing beautiful photographs.


Rohtang Pass is located 50 kilometers from Manali. Located at an altitude of 4111 km above sea level, this pass is the highest road in the world. Where millions of tourists come from all over the world every year. From here one can have a great view of the mountains and glaciers. Along with this, you can also come here and do activities like trekking, mountain biking and paragliding. Going near Rohtang, you will feel that the land here has covered a sheet of snow. You will see snow all around here. Rohtang Pass opens in May every year and closes due to heavy snowfall in September. Prior permission will have to be taken to travel to Rohtang Pass.


Best time to visit Rohtang Pass - The pass gets closed during winter season due to high coldness. It is considered as the May-July is the best time to visit Rohtang Pass


How to reach Rohtang Pass - From Delhi, you can take Himachal roadways to reach the Pass which takes almost 12 – 14 hours to reach the pass.
