Lal Bagh or sometimes also known by the name Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens in Bangalore is a very well known name nationally and internationally in the industry of Botany and in the conservation of plants and has a great scientific importance. Lal Bagh is spread across the wide 240 acres of area. Lal Bagh is a very famous area on the land of Bangalore. Lal Bagh has four gates in it and those each gates are very far from each other. The western gate is situated at Siddapura circle while the north western gate opens at the Krumbigal road and the remaining other two sides that is the one at eastern side closes at Jayanagar and the southern gate opens at Ashoka Pillar.
Lal Bagh started during the rule of Hyder Ali ( during 1760 ) and later on followed by his son called Tipu Sultan. Lal Bagh in itself is a combination of two or more gardens in it like Bonsai Garden, Rose Garden and a Lotus Garden. If you want to visit Lal Bagh then their is an entry fees of rupees 25 while if you want to carry a camera along with you then the entry charges will increase to 60 rupees per person and the entry of school children is always free at Lal Bagh. Also there are entry timings at Lal Bagh that you need to follow up before visiting Lal Bagh and that’s from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Although, Lal Bagh is well connected by major transports of Banglore so in order to reach Lal Bagh in Bangalore you will not get that much difficulty. You can simply travel by bus or by taxi or by taking a cab you can visit Lal Bagh in Bangalore. Also if you are planning to visit Lal Bagh then try to make sure that you must travel during the months of November to March as this is the time that is most favorable to travel Lal Bagh but during summers the weather of Bangalore can be hot and humid, so it will be difficult for you to travel during the summers. So, winters will be best preferable to you to travel to Lal Bagh in Bangalore.
