Why do Hindus go to Haridwar : Haridwar is great site of Hindus pilgrimage, thousands of devotee seem on the bank of Holy Ganges known as Har Ki Pauri every year. Mostly devotee come here in summer season because of devotees have to take bath in Ganges and the water of the holy Ganges is very cold so in summer taking bath is very easy and feel very good. According to Hindus religion taking bath in Ganges is just removing the sin. People use this Holy Water for worship and for purify. In ancient history to present time Haridwar is on top as Holy Place of Hindus religion. Every year in month of July of according to Hindu calendar month of Savan is very rush can see in Haridwar because of Kawad Mela is held every year laks of kawadiya come in Haridwar for bath in holy water, carry holy water along their self for lord Shiva worship. In large scale one big fair which name is Kumbh Mela held every 12 year million of devotee and visitor come in Haridwar.
There are many famous temple in Haridwar , often many devotee come from across the India and many tourists from abroad to come here to see this beautiful and fabulous holy place and hill station of Haridwar. Haridwar is very spiritual city in India, you must visit once here.
Most Visited Temples in Haridwar are Shri Mata Mansa Devi temple is located hilltop of Haridwar dedicated to goddess Mata Mansa Durga Mata, Maa Chandi Devi and other are like Bharat Mata Mandir, Maya Devi temple, Daksh Mahadeva temple.
