Day 1: Arrive Anandpur Sahib

Morning /Afternoon pick up from Anandpur Sahib railway Station/Bus Stand, drive to Amritsar, and Check in at the hotel and fresh up.

Visit Sri Kesgarh Sahib: Gurudwara Shri Kesgarh Sahib is situated in the central place of city Anandpur Sahib. It is also known as Takht Shri Kesgarh Sahib. Anandpur Sahib was founded in 1665 by the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur, near the ruins of an ancient place, Makhowal. The most precious of these is the actual Khanda (double edged sword) used by Guru Gobind Singh to prepare the amrit (sweet water) used in the first Khalsa initiation ceremony.

Later back to the hotel and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2: Anandpur Sahib Local Sightseeing

After the breakfast, drive local sightseeing of Anandpur sahib.

Visit Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib: November 11, 1675, Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji grasped martyrdom in Delhi. His behead was cremated at this place. People also believe that the oldest structure in the shrine is the central pedestal in the Gurudwara.

Then visit Gurudwara Akal Bunga Sahib: This is situated opposite to the Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib. Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji used to address the Sikhs to struggle for freedom and faith. He also asked people to stay prepared to fight tyranny and injustice.

Then visit Bhakra Nangal Dam: It is one of the highest straight gravity dams in the world. It is the world’s highest straight gravity dam built across the River Satluj. Bhakra Dam also taps water from the River Beas which is used for the purpose of irrigation by the north Indian states of Punjab and Haryana. The view of the vast dam and the surrounding jungles is absolutely marvelous. Return to the Hotel, Overnight at Chandigarh Hotel.

Later back to the hotel and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3: Departure Anandpur Sahib

Morning/Afternoon checkout from the hotel and Transfer to the railway Station/Bus Stand to board train for onward Journey with all memories of visit.
