History of Jama Masjid

The basic work of a Jama Masjid is a quadrangular structure built entirely of block and stone. The Masjid is surrounded by a ring of the courtyard and two buildings of the two stories.

The main entrance to the Jama Masjid takes the guests specifically to the open courtyard of the old reservoir, which is currently all around equipped with work steps and stones. Sixteen dark stone curves rise from the reservoir to provide assistance to the entire structure of the Masjid. The upper storey of the Masjid supports five lines of wooden columns, each containing a repository for dedicated books.

In 1898, two large windows were constructed towards the northern, southern and eastern sides of the Masjid. Muhammadiyah School is also located in a similar complex. The school goes on to offer free religious and political training to Muslim youth and has a hostel attached to it. Since the 1980's, a large library with uncommon originals has joined the Masjid. This library was completely restored and moved to the main floor when it was launched in April 2015. The full library compilation is currently numbered.
