1. Lakhamandal: Lakhamandal Temple is an ancient temple located in the Jaunsar-Bawar region of Dehradun district of Uttarakhand. This temple is dedicated to the deity Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and the height of this temple is 1372 meters above sea level. This temple is very popular among the Shakti cult as they believe that a visit to this temple will put an end to their misfortunes. The temple is adorned with amazing artwork. Lakhamandal temple gets its name from two words.
Lakh meaning "many" and mandala meaning "temples" or "lingam" two Shiva lingams situated in the temple with different colours and sizes, "The Dark Green Shivling" belongs to Dwapara Yuga, when Lord Krishna incarnated and the "Red Shiva Linga" belong to the Treta Yuga, when Lord Rama was incarnated. The Lakhamandal Temple is built in the North Indian style of architecture, which is common in the hilly regions of Garhwal, Jaunsar and Himachal. Parvati's footprints can be seen on a rock inside the temple, which is a speciality of this temple. The idols of Lord Kartikeya, Lord Ganesha, Lord Vishnu and Lord Hanuman are installed inside the temple in the Lakhamandal temple.
2. Tiger Fall: After driving 5 km from Chakrata, there is a 50 meters high Tiger Falls, where one can see the view of a beautiful waterfall, its height is 1395 meters above sea level.
3. Moigarh Jharna: This calm and clean waterfall is situated on Yamunotri road, 69 km from Dehradun. Travelers going to Yamanotri take bath in this waterfall.
4. Kanasar: This place, 26 km from Chakrata surrounded by high hills and dense forests, is an ideal place for tourists. This place attracts a lot of tourists.
