Time to visit Harishchandra Ghat
The best time to visit the harishchandra ghat is at first light (4:30am in summer, 6am in winter) when the stream is washed in a smooth light as travelers come to perform puja (actually 'regard'; offering or petitions) to the rising sun, and at nightfall (6pm) when the fundamental Ganga Aarti (waterway adore service) happens at harishchandra Ghat.
