Cherrapunji Shillong Tour Packages

Day 01: Guwahati to Shillong (122 km/ 3 hours)

Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport, get picked up and drive toward Shillong.
On the way, visit beautiful Umiam Lake and enjoy some water sports (a nominal fee is required to be paid) and Lady Hydari Park the park is dedicated to the first lady of the province, Lady Hydari, wife of the Governor of Assam.
On arrival in Shillong, check in at your pre-booked hotel in Shillong.
Overnight stay in Shillong

Day 02: Shillong to Cherrapunji (54 km/ 1hour 40 mins)
After having breakfast, we will proceed for the local sightseeing of Cherrapunji. We will start our day tour by visiting the real attractions of the city like the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Nohsngithiang falls, the Dainthlen Falls, the Mawsmai Caves, the Mawmluh caves, the Thangkharang Park. In the evening check in at the Hotel in Cherrapunji. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 03: Cherrapunji to Nongrihat Trek/Sightseeing and back to Shillong
After having breakfast, we will trek to the Double Decker Bridge (4 hrs trek). After the trek, visit local Church, market and local shops in Cherrapunji. Later drive back toward Shillong and check-in at the Hotel and overnight stay for the night.

Day 04: Shillong to Dawki and Mawlynnong
After having breakfast leave for your tour of Dawki and Mawlynnong. Head to visit Mawlynnong first which is known as the cleanest village in Asia. After a walk through the village, head to the Living Root Bridge, and then move towards Dawki which is located on the Indo-Bangladesh Border. Enjoy a relishing a boat ride (a nominal fee is required to be paid) on the crystal clear water in Umngot River and cross the Dawki Bridge (1932-India- Bangladesh suspension bridge). In the evening stay overnight at the Hotel/Homestay in Mawlynnong.

Day 05: Mawlynnong to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station (172kms/5hrs)
On the last day of our tour, after breakfast in the morning, checkout from the hotel. Visit the Sacred Grove, a paradise for nature lovers who enjoy flora and fauna and then move to Elephant Falls. Later transfer to the railway station/airport for onward journey with all memories of visit.
