Frequently Asked Questions

Our 3D/2N Kanha package starts at ₹8,499 per person on a double-sharing basis. The exact price depends on your choice of resort (budget, deluxe, or luxury), safari zone, and vehicle preference.

The best time for a Kanha tour is from October to June. For pleasant weather and greenery, visit between October and February. For the highest chances of spotting tigers around water holes, visit during the summer months from March to June.

You should book your jeep safari 60 to 90 days in advance. Forest permits for core zones like Kanha and Mukki are limited each day and sell out quickly, especially for weekends and holidays.

The nearest airports are Jabalpur (160 km) and Nagpur (260 km). The nearest major railway stations are Gondia (145 km) and Jabalpur (160 km). We arrange private AC cabs for direct pickup and drop-off from any of these points.

No. Core zones of Kanha National Park remain closed from July 1 to September 30 during the monsoon and animal breeding season. The park reopens every year on October 1. Note that evening safaris are also closed every Wednesday.

Kanha has 4 core zones (Kanha, Mukki, Khatia, and Sarhi) and 2 buffer zones (Khatia Buffer and Phen Buffer). Core zones offer the highest chance of spotting tigers and big game, while buffer zones are great for evening safaris and extra bird watching.

No. All core safari gates in Kanha National Park remain closed for evening safaris every Wednesday. Morning safaris operate as usual on Wednesdays. Plan your trip itinerary accordingly so you do not miss out on afternoon game drives.

You can book a full private open jeep for up to 6 people (plus driver and guide) for complete privacy and flexibility. If you are traveling solo or on a budget, shared safari seats are also available through government booking portals.

Wear earth-toned clothes like khaki, olive green, brown, or beige to blend into the forest. Bright colors can disturb wildlife. During winter safaris (November to February), early mornings are freezing, so carry heavy jackets, gloves, and caps.

Kanha is world-famous for saving the Hard Ground Barasingha (Swamp Deer) from extinction. Aside from tigers and Barasingha, you can spot leopards, sloth bears, Indian gaur (bison), dholes (wild dogs), spotted deer, and over 300 bird species.

For a 3 Days / 2 Nights trip, doing 2 to 3 jeep safaris across different core zones (like Kanha and Mukki) gives you the best balance of tiger sighting opportunities, scenic forest exploration, and relaxation time at your resort.
