The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are a union territory of India. It is located in the Indian Ocean south of the Bay of Bengal. The Department of Motorized Transportation of the Andaman and Nicobar Administration operates from 13 stations in the group of north and south islands. Indian Airlines flights fly from Port Blair to Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi and Bhubaneswar three times a week. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, IAC planes fly from Kolkata to Port Blair.The water glasses of Calcutta, Chennai and Visakhapatnam go to Port Blair. It takes two to three days to arrive. There is no fixed time to leave the ship from Port Blair.

The only active volcanic region of India is 'Baron Island'. The island is about 3 km. It has been extended. Best time to visit Andaman - November to May is regarded as the best time to visit Andaman and Nicobar as the climate remains cool at that time. However, monsoon season is not favorable to visit Andaman.
